The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee is excited to bring back ACCIS’s Equity & Innovation Summit. There has never been a better time for us to engage together in the important work of equity and justice as an Association. As college counselors who are guiding and advising future generations every day in our work, we too should be allies in the work of diversity, equity and inclusion. The Summit consists of three days of engaging in critical conversations and the important work required for us all to learn and grow together.
Summit Highlights:
- Keynote sessions led by invited guests and our college counseling colleagues.
- Cohort discussions to allow for more in-depth engagement around these important topics. Cohorts conversations are designed to provide a more connected experience for participants.
- Affinity group sessions will provide safe and supportive spaces where participants will be able to engage freely in important conversations.
- Roundtable discussions will take a deeper dive into current issues with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Networking Opportunities will provide a chance for you to expand your network with other ACCIS Member colleagues
- Admission Presentations will allow for you to learn more about what Vanderbilt University has to offer the students at your school.
