New Counselor WorkshopThe University of Notre Dame Register HERE! *We are nearing capacity for the workshop. This hasn't happened in a few years, and we expanded capacity. We hope to be able to accommodate a few members off this wait list, but you know better than anyone how this goes - someone has to cancel, and we don't have any way to predict if or when that might happen. *If you try to register and receive an error message, it means we have filled and will take down the "register here" link soon. Until then, you are welcome to submit your interest on THIS WAIT LIST FORM. Thank you for your interest and your patience! The New Counselor Workshop is designed for college counselors with 0 to 2 years of experience who are new to the work, whether shifting from another role in independent schools, moving from college admission, or approaching the role from another background or lens entirely. This gathering focuses on essential skills, knowledge, and strategies for guiding students and families through the college search process, learning about college options, and networking resources for continued professional growth. Additionally, the faculty is committed to offering all sessions and facilitating all discussions using a DE&I lens by incorporating/focusing on the range of populations in our schools. The program is limited to 40 attendees. Need to add a new counselor to your school's account? Click here. Questions? Please contact Chadwick Fulton, New Counselor Workshop chair, or Linda Pierre, ACCIS Director of Member Services and Operations. |
